Workplace Teams

Does your team need training?
or a counselor?
You have come to the right place. I happen to be both. Before becoming a mental health counselor, I worked as the Director of Global Training for a large corporation. I developed training programs and curriculum as well as giving seminars and working to develop teams at sites all over the world. It gave me a unique insight into working through cultural differences and personality dynamics. While most of my training was technical, I was also known for my communication courses and team-building work. I believe effective workplace teams can be a difference maker. Your team may have the technical skills they need to get the job done but if they can’t work together they will waste hours arguing and sabotaging each other. This steals valuable time from your project and threatens your goals.
I will start with a one-on-one consultation with you. We can discuss the struggles your team is experiencing and develop a targeted plan for improvement. I have several workshops that can help a team through the most common struggles.
If your team needs intensive work I can interview and counsel them as individuals or in small groups to work through the remainder of the issues. All counseling is focused on the workplace. I will use solutions-focused and cognitive behavioral techniques that can be adopted and applied easily to workplace issues.
